The founder of Altan Gallery, Minal Patel, is the head designer in charge of producing a high standard of outstanding designs, utilizing her unique creativity, resulting in high impact events in terms of colors, composition, style, design and the wow factor. She has designed an award winning parade float, private & corporate interior design projects, and running her full production event design company, Altan Gallery. Altan Gallery has successfully produced 500+ events, both private & corporate events. Her career spans over 20 years, and has worked for the entire spectrum of clients – with different styles, designs & aesthetics.

Her unique custom couture jewelry business is her latest entrepreneurial endeavor with a focus on empowering women while giving back a percentage of the income to charitable causes. - -Minal has had many private and corporate clients desiring her to make unique, custom wreaths for various seasons, holidays, special events, interior of their homes, front door, or just because. This is a fun class where you can use your creativity and various materials to create a unique and welcoming wreath portraying a particular message or just to brighten up anyone’s day! - Succulent Design
- -Minal does landscape designing for others as well as for her own garden. She enjoys succulent propagation, planting and designing containers with unique combination of succulents or adding them to garden landscaping. - Etching Glass
- -This is a wonderful opportunity to create a customized/personalized glass etched item for yourself or a gift for someone special. You can either etch a wine class, a decanter, vase, jewelry box, frame or any clear glass item that you have. If you do not have a specific glass item at home to etch, you are welcome to etch a wine glass provided by us, which you can reserve advance. - Glass Painting
- -This is a creative painting on wine glasses. We will learn how to paint a flower in layers. The flower will be revealed slowly as the contents in the glass is consumed. If you would prefer to bring in another clear glass item to paint on, you are welcome to do so. The pictures displayed below are presented for the purpose of design inspiration.
- Watercolor Painting
- -Minal’s introductory course will allow you to understand the basics of watercolor techniques, styles and theory while practicing different methods before creating your watercolor painting. The pictures below are presented for the purpose of design inspiration.
- Container Planting
- -Minal has had a passion for plants at an early age from her parents love of gardening. She was able to develop her knowledge of gardening from participating and being inspired by her parents, even watching them create their own hybrid rose varietals. Mandala Design
- -Art using uniform designs placed concentrically in a geometric pattern. Not only are these creative art design pieces beautiful, colorful,and mesmerizing but they also have the added health benefit of helping you relax, unwind and calm you from a busy or stressful day in a creative and meditative manner. This form of art is utilized in various fields such as art, home/office design accessories, architecture, landscape design, etc.
This art form originated in India in the first century B.C.E. with the use of spiritual symbols and patterns in a traditional manner for providing a spiritual guidance tool for focusing one’s attention as an aid to meditation. This form of art has been used in art and architecture applications by many cultures/religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Mayan Civilization, Christianity, etc. Today, it is mostly used in creative art design for more decorative purposes. This can be an alternate, novel and creative application to the corporate side. It can be an interesting team building experience and a group bonding opportunity.
